Dr. Sondra Yeomans O.D. she/her

Dr. Yeomans started her studies at the University of New Brunswick and subsequently received her Doctor of Optometry (Honours) degree from the University of Waterloo in 1994. She was a Canada Scholar, received the University of Waterloo Faculty Award for three successive years and the Bausch and Lomb Outstanding Achievement Award, among others. Dr. Yeomans is a Shad Fellow.

In 2009, Dr. Yeomans earned her Therapeutics Accreditation from Northeastern State University, Oklahoma and the University of Waterloo.

She began her practice in Newfoundland and later moved to the Ottawa Valley. Since 2020, Dr. Yeomans has dedicated her time to her private practice at Westgate Optometry.

In her spare time, Dr. Yeomans enjoys travelling with her husband, walking their dog and cycling. Her proudest achievements in life are her two amazing adult children who continuously bring her much joy.
